Joomla! 2.5
Joomla! 2.5, the new long-term Joomla! version, will be released at the end of january. One of the new features affecting ALFContact is built-in captcha support by means of a new plugin type. Upon release at least support for reCaptcha will be included.
ALFContact v2.0 runs fine on J!2.5, however work has already started on ALFContact v2.5 to make full use of the built-in captcha support of J!2.5. Expect a release shortly after J!2.5.
WRR bugje
Na jaren is er toch weer een bugje ontdekt in het WRR programma, bedankt Corstiaan ;-)
In het kort komt het er op neer dat ik in het WRR programma ergens vergeten ben de Restwaardering te initialiseren waardoor de berekening van de Wachttijd niet altijd goed blijkt te gaan.
Het feit dat dit nu pas ontdekt wordt zegt al iets over de grootte van de impact van dit bugje, maar ik zal proberen zo snel mogelijk met een nieuwe versie te komen.
Joomla! 1.6
Now that Joomla! 1.6 has been released I have to work even harder on getting ALFContact ready for the new release.
I can tell you that ALFContact 2.0 is already in the making, for now it will have no additional features or goodies.
The 2.0 release will be just a native 1.6 version, once that runs fine I'll start thinking about all those suggestions you've sent me over the last year or so.
Anyway here is a glimpse of the administration I'm working on, looks familiar doesn't it ;-)
I do need some time to figure out the new ACL system and get familiar with the MVC design stuff, but let's hope a release can be planned in the near future.....
ALFContact v1.9.3
Another small ALFcontact update.
In this v1.9.3 release I've changed some deprecated PHP functions (like split), also a reCaptcha error is fixed which allowed logged-in users to send a message irrespective of a correct security check.
I'm also working on a proper MVC design for ALFcontact, Michael Simöl provided me with a basic setup from which I can expand.
This still needs a lot of work though and time is what's lacking the most at the moment.....
ALFContact v1.9.2
Released a small update to ALFContact today. To fix a problem where some emails turned up without the sender's email, I added a REPLY-TO field to the header.
This seems to fix that problem, let's just hope I didn't create a new one ;-)
