I have been working on some changes which has resulted in a v1.8.3 pre-release for you to try out, you can download it HERE.
Changes:
[Changed] new method for sending mail, this version is more of the joomla! 1.5 way which makes it more flexible to add some functionality later.
[Changed] Changed the from: address of the users's copy to the site's e-mail address as some hosts had trouble with this
[New] Added option to change the From: address of the e-mails from the user to the site's address as some hosts don't allow the from adress to be something else then their own domain whwn generated from scripts running on their site.
[New] Each contact can have multiple recipients now, just seperate them by a semicolon (;)
[New] Each contact now has their own Redirect option, when the Redirect is left empty, the basic 'Sent Text' parameter text is used.
[New] Added an update option (defaults to 'yes') which means that when uninstalling ALFcontact, the database remains intact and installing a new version will not override it. So you still need to uninstall and install, but the data remains intact. Because this was not present in v1.8.2 you will only start benefitting from this when you upgrade version 1.8.3 to something newer.....
